Dr. Laura M. Moore Honored as Professional of the Year in Allergy and Immunology
For 14years, Dr. Laura Moore has provided compassionate care for both military and civilian patients, children and adults alike

BILLINGS, MT, August 29, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Laura M. Moore, MD, Physician at Billings Clinic, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in allergy and immunology.
Having served in the U.S. Air Force, both on active duty and in the reserves, Dr. Moore brings to her practice a thorough knowledge of military medicine that complements her experience as a general pediatrician and allergist. She has provided compassionate care using evidence-based, sound medicine for 14years. She recently joined the Billings Clinic, where she is responsible for assessing and treating children and adults with asthma, eczema, food allergies, hives, swelling, immunodeficiency, allergic contact dermatitis and other allergic disorders. Additionally, she counsels patients and families regarding diseases and provides them with education on proper medication use, trigger avoidance and disease prevention. A regional specialist, Dr. Moore visits clinics in Cody, Wyo., and Miles City, Mont., twice per month to conduct allergy clinics.

In 1997, Dr. Moore received an MD from Creighton University. Board-certified in Pdiatrics and Alergy, Athma and Imunology, she holds memberships to the American Latex Allergy Association, the Association of Asthma Educators, the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network, the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the Allergy and Asthma Foundation of America, the Allergy and Asthma Network/Mothers of Asthmatics, the Montana Medical Association and the Yellowstone Valley Medical Society. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Inspired by her mother, who is a nurse, Dr. Moore attributes her success to her hard work and the support of her family.
