KAMUELA, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lokenani Kealoha Souza, Registered Nurse, Certified Wound, Ostomy & Continence Care Nurse and Certified Foot and Nail Care Nurse for West Hawaii Home Health Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.

With 10 years of professional experience and growing expertise in wound, ostomy, and continence care, Ms. Souza attributes her success to her hard work, dedication, upbringing and passion for her profession. Her day-to-day responsibilities at West Hawaii Home Health Services include caring for patients with chronic illnesses including but not limited to diabetes and congestive heart failure as well as those with wound, ostomy and incontinence issues; she also assists post-operative patients in changing dressings and ostomy appliances.

Ms. Souza is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Science to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. A Registered Nurse, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2006, and became a Certified Ostomy and Continence Nurse in 2009. She is a member of The American Nurses Association, Inc. and the Hawaii affiliate of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society.

West Hawaii Home Health Services is a for-profit home care agency, offering nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and home health aide services.
