Angela R. Dorsey, D.O., shows her compassion for others by assisting the underserved community

Gallup, NM, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Angela R. Dorsey, D.O., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in medical care.
Dr. Dorsey completed her training in Family Medicine and currently works for Indian Health Services as an Urgent Care Physician. She desired to assist the tribal community with their health needs and she attributes her success to her upbringing to help those in the underserved community.
Dr. Dorsey received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. She attained a scholarship from the National Health Service Corps and previously utilized her free time by volunteering for local shelters for Hurricane Katrina victims and the American National Red Cross. One opportunity that she continues to cherish as a physician was the chance to volunteer with a medical mission group to South Africa. In addition, she currently sponsors children in Africa through Child Fund International. In the future, she intends to continue progressing in the medical field.
