Erin M. Koger Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Erin M. Koger received the Pillars of Excellence Award from Medicorp Inc

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA, June 4, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Erin M. Koger, Neonatal Registered Nurse for Mary Washington Healthcare, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.

With 12 years of professional experience, Ms. Koger attributes her success to the support she received from her mentor. As a neonatal registered nurse, she is responsible for overseeing operations of the neonatal intensive care unit and the clinical advancement program at level IV status, and instructing parents of premature babies on CPR. Ms. Koger is also a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor. As an instructor she is responsible for teaching other nurses, doctors and paramedics the skills necessary to care for newborns at delivery. Ms. Koger is a team member of the Mary Washington Hospital's Neonatal Transport Team and PICC Team.

In 2004, Ms. Koger earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing, and became a registered nurse in 1998, from Germanna Community College. Additionally, she holds a certification in high risk neonatal care.

Ms. Koger is a member of the Virginia Nurses Association and the Academy of Neonatal Nursing. She received the Pillars of Excellence Award from Medicorp Inc.
