Anna Utter Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Anna Utter has been the regional director of the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners for five years

FALLS CHURCH, VA, June 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anna Utter, Regional Director of the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in her career.

Ms. Utter has 30 years of overall professional experience. As regional director, she is responsible for administration of the lactation consultant certification exam in North, Central and South Americas and Israel, ensuring that all candidates meet the eligibility standards established by the board of directors. She became involved in her profession after volunteering as a breastfeeding support counselor and owning a private lactation consultant practice for 10 years.

In 1974, Ms. Utter received her Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from American University. She became a board certified lactation consultant through the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. She is the commissioner of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. It was established to develop and administer the certification examination for lactation consultants.
