She obtained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and she is currently a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She has always strived to work in the medical field, and she attributes her success to her perseverance. Dr. Johnson has an academic appointment with New York Medical College since June 2009. She is a Board Member of the AAFP-Queens Chapter. She is currently affiliated with North Shore LIJ Hospital. Dr. Johnson graduated in 2002 with honors in family medicine. She is a member of Tau Phi Sigma, Phi Theta Kappa and Golden Key National Honor Society. She was a recipient of the Leopold Schepp Foundation, US Department of Health and New York State Regents Health Care Scholarship. She is a recipient of the AMA Physician Recognition Award.
