Dr. Roland D. Hollis Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Dr. Roland D. Hollis celebrates 10 years at the Hollis Family Medical Clinic

PARAGOULD, AR, November 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Dr. Roland D. Hollis, Medical Doctor of the Hollis Family Medical Clinic, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in health care.

With 18 years of professional experience, including ten years as a medical doctor at the Hollis Family Medical Clinic, Dr. Hollis has developed an expertise in diabetic health care. In his current position, he sees patients at his outpatient clinic, and conducts clinical trials research. He became involved in his profession because he always enjoyed helping people and teaching. He chose to become a doctor because he felt he could make a difference. Dr. Hollis attributes his success to the time he takes with his patients, giving them the attention that they need. He is able to simplify complex medical information
for his patients in order to help them understand it. He meets with his patients, listens carefully to their concerns, and gets to the core of an issue.

In 1989, Dr. Hollis earned a doctoral degree from the University of Arkansas. He completed his internship and residency at Area Health Education Center in Pine Bluff and Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, he is a member of PRISM, and Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He has been inducted into the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Eta Sigma honor societies. In his spare time, Dr. Hollis volunteers at the local mission outreach clinic. In the future, he intends to become more involved in clinical trials and research.
