CLARKSBURG, WV, April 1, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Paul S. Pickholtz, a gastroenterologist in private practice, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of medicine.

With 35 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Pickholtz specializes in endoscopy and the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and biliary tract disease. He works in his Clarksburg office and attends patients at the United Hospital Center, where he also performs endoscopic procedures. He recently moved his practice from Yonkers, New York, where he practiced for 25 years. He served as the Chief of Gastroenterology at St. John's Riverside Hospital. He built a state of the art suite dedicated for gastroenterological procedures.

Dr. Pickholtz trained at the University of Cincinnati Medical School and Kings County Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. He hopes to become involved in teaching medicine when he is no longer in private practice.
