On a daily basis he practices both general family medicine and occupational medicine. He attributes his success to his hard work and dedication and became involved in his profession because of his interest in science.

In addition to holding a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Walk earned his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from Drake University. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and his college Alumni Association.
