/Family Medicine News Articles/ - Chico, CA, February 27, 2008, Dr. Lydia L. Schrader, a medical doctor in private practice for the past 15 years, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and distinction in all aspects of breast health.

As a medical doctor for caring for breast health, Dr. Schrader performs general surgery and diagnoses and treats diseases of the breast with 20 of experience, she attributes her success to her love for her profession.

"I always wanted to be a doctor. I liked the trauma unit, but was steered toward breast surgery," Dr. Schrader said, explaining her choice of specialty. She obtained her medical doctorate from the University of California at Los Angeles. A fellow at the American College of Surgery, she is board certified from the American Board of Surgeons, the ASBD and the ASBS.
