Cambridge Who's Who Names Marcus E.S. Mason, MD, Professional of the Year in Internal and Family Medicine
Marcus E.S. Mason, MD named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year.

Mason, MD, president of Marcus Mason, MD, PA, Advanced Wound Care has been named Cambridge Who's WhoProfessional of the Year for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of internal and family medicine.

Dr. Mason practices geriatric care, wound care and internal and family medicine. He is a certified wound care specialist and graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in geriatric medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami School of Medicine and his residency at the Ochsner Medical Foundation. His scholarly articles have appeared in the International Journal of Oncology, the Health and Wellness Section of http://www.miamitimesonline.com, http://www.annalsoflongtermcare.com and http://www.clinicalgeriatrics.com.

In addition, Dr. Mason recently completed researching and writing a manuscript entitled Thirty of the Most Common Medical Conditions in African Americans. Says Mason, "Medical concerns have always been important issues to me, specifically those that affect the Black community. I certainly hope that it is an educational and inspirational book, not only to the African American community but also to the national community at large because most of the issues that I discuss affect all creeds and cultures and people no matter what their nationality or place of origin."
