Cambridge Who's Who Names Martha J. Shadel Professional of the Year in Clinical Healthcare
Martha J. Shadel, D.O., medical director for Bridgeview Medical Clinic, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in clinical healthcare.

Shadel, D.O., medical director for Bridgeview Medical Clinic, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in clinical healthcare. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Who's Who selection committee selects these special honorees based on their accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership and service.

Shadel is entering her third year as the medical director of Bridgeview Medical Clinic. She is primarily responsible for performing physicals and evaluating drug screening for future employees. She also practices occupational medicine. Shadel credits her success as medical director to her exceptional attention to detail. The Bridgeview Medical Clinic is a freestanding organization providing urgent, family and occupational care. The clinic also dispenses medication and offers physicals for students, athletes and new employees.

Ms. Shadel received her doctorate in osteopathy at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and her bachelor of science in physician assistant studies from Western Michigan University. She is board certified in occupational medicine and is also a certified emergency medical physician and a certified medical review officer. Ms. Shadel is a member of numerous industry-related organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the Michigan Osteopathic Association, Sigma Sigma Phi and the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Surgeons and Physicians.
